It is pretty much a legal requirement to release Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes on a VR device. This is the Oculus Quest version I am looking at today and as someone who has spent hours with this game on other devices. I can tell you right away that the Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes on Oculus Quest is just as great as all of the other versions, making it the ultimate party game for the Oculus Quest.

What makes Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes stand out from the rest of the games on the Oculus Quest right now is that this is made to be played with other people. It is very exciting and the person who is wearing the Oculus Quest is standing in a room that has a bomb in it and they need to deactivate it.

The player in the headset is not on their own, they are part of a bomb disposal unit. You see you have to play this with at least one other person. The people who are not wearing the headset can download the Bomb Defusal Manual on their phone. Or if you want to be more in-depth you can print it all out. This means you only need one copy of the game for everyone to enjoy.

The way a round of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes works is that the person who is wearing the Oculus Quest must describe the bomb to the rest of the team. Then the team needs to look over their Bomb Defusal Manual in order to find the bomb that the Oculus Quest player is talking about. There are many different bombs and they each have their own method for disarming them. So, what works for one, will probably cause the next one to blow up in your face!

You may think that all the fun in Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is for the person who is wearing the Oculus Quest, but that is not the case. It is a lot of fun to be part of the manual squad too. You have to work together to find the solution, but you end up shouting over each other. The game is very tricky as well and sometimes will trick you into thinking the same bomb needs disarming, but it will have a subtle difference.

I know that Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes sounds like a game where there is not much to it, but it really is a great time. It is perfect when you have a few friends round and you guys will be laughing all night as you take turns trying to disarm the bombs. Part of the fun is the strange ways in which some people try and describe what they are seeing.

While it has been released on very headset under the sun. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes on the Oculus Go is still an awesome time. I am not sure that the fully wireless nature of the Quest makes any difference to the gameplay. However, this is still one of the best party games that you can get on the Oculus Quest.

Pros:

It is a lot of fun to play

The asking price is very reasonable

Plenty of bombs to disarm

One of the best VR games to play with other people

You only need one copy of the game

Cons:

No way to play it on your own

You and your friends will be shouting over each other!
